Armorial

An armorial, or a roll of arms, is a collection of coats of arms. Below is my personal armorial containing my coat of arms and variations.

Scudo di Cammarano

Scudo del Regno d'Italia
Kingdom of Italy, impaled
Scudo del Regno d'Italia Medievale
Kingdom of Italy

Due to the lack of an heraldic authority in Italy, the assumption of arms (the act whereby one assumes a coat of arms) is not regulated by law, thus it is free.

The first image shows my personal coat of arms. It was assumed on the 3rd of August A.D. 2022 with the following blason: "Gules, a bend chequy Vert and Argent, cotticed Or". (Italian: "Di rosso, alla banda scaccata in due file in verde e argento accostata da una cotissa in oro su ambi i lati")

The second image shows a combined arms of the first and third images. This is a form of marshalling called impalement, where the shield is bisected in pale (i.e. the vertical) with each side displaying one coat of arms. It is traditionally used to denote a union, thus it is a fitting representation for the Kingdom of Italy once my claim is successfully pressed.

The third image shows the attributed coat of arms of the Kingdom of Italy, as reported by WappenWiki, during the medieval period when the Kingdom was part of the Holy Roman Empire. The cross, while identical to that of Saint George, is actually associated with Saint Ambrose. Officially, the Kingdom used the Imperial Eagle because the Holy Roman Emperor was also the King of Italy. Most likely, during the wars of the Lombard League and the Guelph-Ghibelline Wars and due to the majority of the Kingdom associating with the Pope, it became more common to represent Italy with the Cross of Saint Ambrose.

The Greater Coat of Arms

This particular representation is used to display the full decorations attached to a coat of arms. It is commonly referred to as the "full achievement". Figured in the centre is my shield, decorated with the Supreme Order of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ and the Immaculate Heart of Mary and below it the Order of the Iron Crown of Italy. The shield is supported by two angels, holding the shield and a banner of arms, reaffirming not only divine legitimacy but submission to spiritual authority, recognising that myself and the Kingdom I claim are subjects of God, the Church and Her Pope. The shield is topped by a royal helmet, a torse and the Iron Crown of Lombardy, a religious relic and the traditional crown of the Kings of Italy. For the Arms of the Kingdom, the Iron Crown is topped with the Star of Italy. Finally the whole achievement is topped with the standard closed crown.

The Lesser Coat of Arms

The lesser coat of arms uses the same shield as the Greater coat of arms, but without most of the external ornaments. It only keeps the Collar of the Supreme Order of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ and the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the standard closed crown.
